Hi all! I just want to let you know about a new Twilio CLI plugin that we just published. The Assets Plugin allows you to create an Assets service that you can then use as a bucket for static assets you want to upload. It's great for uploading audio files to use on calls, images you want to send in MMS messages, or just memes for sharing.

I wrote a blog post that goes more into depth about how to use the Assets Plugin but briefly:

  1. Make sure you have the Twilio CLI installed
  2. Install the Assets Plugin: twilio plugins:install @twilio-labs/plugin-assets
  3. Initialise your assets bucket: twilio assets:init
  4. Upload an asset: twilio assets:upload path/to/asset
  5. List all your assets in the bucket: twilio assets:list

The plugin is open source and part of the Twilio Serverless Toolkit.

I'd love to know whether you think this plugin is useful, what you might use it for, and if there are any missing features? Please do let me know any feedback here in the forum or, if there are bugs, please raise an issue.

Thanks!
