How to Integrate with third party contact center application?

Hi,

I'm currently using the Genesys contact center application and would like to integrate Twilio's task router for the call routing, while still using Genesys as the front-facing contact center application, but I'm having trouble knowing where to start. Genesys has its own call routing that is performed whenever I use Genesys' conversations API to create a web chat, but would like to integrate Twilio's Task router without using Twilio Flex. Is there a way to do this and is it possible to integrate Twilio's Task Router with third party contact center apps instead of using Twilio Flex?
