Possible to set the default room setting on sub account creation

Hi,

We are setting up our sub account per customer via the API so that we don't need to do this manually. However, despite the Main account having the default room type set as P2P, the sub accounts are defaulting to Group Rooms and we can't see any way to set these in the API.

Is this possible? We don't really want to specify the room type when creating the room as for some customers we might want to 'upgrade' them to Group rooms via the account settings.

I'm afraid, @mdrayner, that the default room type for an account is Group and there is not an API to set that.

I think in this case I would recommend that you specify the room type when you create the room. Then, if you want to upgrade a customer you can specify the room type as "Group" when you create the room.

Thanks.. unfortunately I think this will require a complete redesign on our side as we are using the Java SDK and creating Ad-hoc rooms... the documention seems to indicate that we cannot specify the room type for Adhoc other than in the console settings?
