Forum Guidelines No Shenanigans

Community Guidelines are the rules of the road for how to behave on the Twilio Community Forum. If your content violates our Community Guidelines, your profile will be issued a strike. The first strike is a warning, more than one strike will lead to further consequences.

Ask About a Persons Pronouns
Be careful not to make assumptions about someone’s gender identity, gender expression, and gender-related appearance and behavior.

Stay on Topic
Be sure your topic matches the general theme of our channel. Check out our recently added discussions to get an idea of what subjects are appropriate. Spam will not be tolerated.

Choose Your Words Wisely
Comments that contain any profanity are automatically held for moderator review before being posted. Depending on the context of the comment, it may be removed. Profanity used to insult, antagonize, or inflame will always be removed.

No Self Promotion
A discussion or comment that contains only a link to your blog, a product, or your article on another site will almost always be removed.

Don't Be a Jerk
Personal attacks and harassment of any kind will not be tolerated. Sexist, racist, misogynist, homophobic, and broad, offensive generalizations about groups of people are simply not allowed. Comments or discussions written intentionally to provoke will also be removed. Look out for each other by recognizing and confronting microaggressions, racist assumptions, transphobic remarks, and general unfriendliness.

Don't Copy and Paste
If you didn't write it or haven't properly cited the article you're quoting, don't post it.
